New Generation Ink is a working studio in the heart of Breda — every piece is designed around the person wearing it, across realism, fine line, black-work, old school, ornamental, Japanese, lettering, dot work, mandala work and cover-ups.
“Got my first tattoo done by Zino at New Generation Ink in Breda — a mother-daughter tattoo. Such a great tattoo artist.”
“Came to New Generation for an extension on an existing tattoo. Really happy with it, great work by Pimpa. Nice, relaxed atmosphere — genuinely recommend it if you want a beautiful tattoo.”
“A really great experience! I'd wanted our family crest on my ankle for years, and this was the first place that felt right to actually do it. It's a tattoo with a lot of detail and unusual shapes, but Zino nailed it.”
“My experience here was excellent! Zino worked out the idea I had exactly as I pictured it, and explained and discussed everything clearly. The atmosphere in the shop was also really pleasant.”
“A tattoo shop with real experience. Made me feel at ease for my first tattoo — I'll definitely be back!”
“Tattooed by Zino — he's done three different tattoos on me so far. The lion tattoo is a fine line piece representing me and my children. I brought him the idea and he sketched it out for me.”
“I've been coming here for 2.5 years, and Zino is genuinely the best. His work is amazing. I keep coming back!”
“Got my 8th tattoo done by Zino today. Really happy — he's very precise and gives great advice. Found my go-to tattoo artist!”
“A really lovely tattoo shop, great people working there, personal attention, and a relaxed, welcoming vibe. The owner is young but driven and clearly knows what he's doing! Zino works precisely and thinks along with you.”
“Got a tattoo done this morning — he was a friendly guy who clearly knew what he was doing. I'll definitely have him do my next one too!”
New Generation Ink was founded by Zino as a studio where the design comes first — no walk-in flash slapped on without a conversation. We're a Dutch and international crew working in the heart of Breda, and most of our bookings start with a sketch, not a stencil off the shelf.
Whether you're after a fine line piece the size of a coin or a full-day black-work sleeve, the process is the same: we talk, we draw, we adjust, and only then do we tattoo.
Every booking includes a design consult — we very rarely repeat a piece exactly.
Realism, fine line, black-work, old school, ornamental, Japanese, lettering, dot work, mandalas, and cover-ups.
Single-use needles, medical-grade sterilisation, a studio that's inspected and clean.
You leave with written aftercare guidance and a direct line if anything looks off.
Every artist at New Generation Ink runs their own consult and design process — pick a name to talk through your idea, or leave it to us to match you up.

View portfolio →Moves easily between bold traditional pieces, fine line botanicals and tribal-inspired color work — a genuinely varied hand.
View portfolio →Brings a storybook, illustrative touch to Japanese and neo-traditional work — fine detail with real character in every piece.
View portfolio →Known for delicate fine line miniatures with a playful signature — hearts, animals and tiny celestial scenes — alongside bold dotwork and blackwork pieces with real graphic punch.
View portfolio →Every session starts as a conversation about scale and detail — these are starting prices, and your artist will confirm the final quote once the design's locked in.
A touch of ink that speaks volumes — perfect for a first piece, a coin-sized design, or adding to an existing collection.
Room to explore medium-sized, detailed work — enough time to get real depth into shading and line weight.
For the grand visions and complex pieces — a full day dedicated to one design, start to finish.

We work with clients across Breda to rework, blend or fully cover tattoos that no longer fit who they are — old designs, faded pieces, or ink from an artist who wasn't the right match. Every cover-up starts with an honest, no-judgement consultation about what's realistically possible over your existing piece.
A blast-over rather than a full cover — we agreed upfront that some of the old linework would still read through the new piece. That's the trade-off with heavily saturated or older tattoos, and it's exactly why we talk it through with you before the machine ever touches your skin.
Real cover-ups from the studio — more examples going up as sessions wrap.
Our tattoo courses teach the skills to become a working tattoo artist, run in line with GGD hygiene and safety guidelines. You'll cover line work, shading, machine and needle use, and a full professional workflow — tailored to your pace and level.
Zino's own specialisations are realism and fine line, and the course covers those in depth alongside old school, black-work and Japanese styles. You'll also work on an iPad with Photoshop, and learn the basics of composition, design and social media — the full modern tattoo-artist skillset, not just needlework.
Creating and adapting designs to meet client wishes.
Line work and fundamental shading — the building blocks of every tattoo.
Needles, ink, machines, voltage, and how to use them optimally.
A clear, step-by-step process from consult through to finished tattoo.
Working on an iPad, designing in Photoshop, an iMac with Creative Cloud is available in-studio.
Every rule around machine operation, stencil application and skin anatomy, done properly.
All courses run a minimum of two lessons a week, averaging 4–5 hours a session. Bring your own tattoo machine, or rent one from us.
Strong students may be offered the chance to stay on at the studio — working and learning independently, with your own key, alongside the team. Ask us directly about how that path works and what it looks like long-term.
The first few weeks decide how the piece settles for the next twenty years. Our instructions follow the hygiene guidelines set by the GGD (Dutch municipal health service) — the short version is below, and full written instructions go home with you after every session.

Every booking is secured with a non-refundable deposit, paid via iDEAL or bank transfer once we confirm your appointment. It holds your slot and covers the design time we put in beforehand, so please only book if you're sure you can make it. If you need to reschedule, talk to us as early as possible — but the deposit itself is not refunded or returned for no-shows or cancellations.
We follow Dutch law on this. Under 12, we cannot tattoo you at all. From 12 up to 16, you can get a tattoo only with a parent or legal guardian's permission, and that parent/guardian must be physically present at the appointment — certain placements (head, neck, wrists, and hands) also aren't allowed for this age group. From 16 onwards, you're legally allowed to decide for yourself, no parental permission needed. Please bring valid ID either way.
No — we do not offer piercing services. New Generation Ink is a tattoo-only studio. We're happy to point you toward a piercing studio we trust if you ask.
